Too late?

today's devotion is on Numbers 12...the part where it really hit me was verse 14-15...God being the kind and forgiving figure still punishes someone that believes in Him...these are prophets that are being punished here...these are ones that have a close relationship with God...so what about the chances of us being punish that commit sins on a daily basis?

but God forgives Miriam in the end...but at a price...she was infected with leprosy...in those days infected with leprosy is as good as having cancer in today's context...only thing is that you can't tell whether is a person infected with cancer at the first look....but leprosy can...and during those days people with leprosy need to wear cloth around themselves to cover whichever part that is exposed...so when leprous walk on the street everyone will keep a fair distance just so that they will not be infected as well...if you have leprous you won't go out to anywhere until you are healed...so if you are not healed for your entire life you don't need to go shopping or hang out with your friends with the rest of your life...

so this shows that God actually forgives but it comes at a price....yes God will forgive us so that we can enter heaven and stay with Him eternally but what is the price or sacrifice? although whatever the sacrifice it is....it will be worth it...but why do we need to go to that step when we can still repent from our wrong doings now?

so that is why we need to constantly reflect upon ourselves and keep ourselves in check before it is too late...

after reading numbers 11...the first thought that i have is that am i asking too much from God when my life is actually good enough?

the Israelites were asking for meat after getting bored of eating manna everyday...this is the part that actually prompt me that maybe God is already blessing me with all the things that i already have now but i am still asking for more...

after a quick reflection, i realize that i got a close group of friends in church, university and secondary school...although small situations happen at home and i really dislike it...but I need a home to start of with to have all the small situation to happen...and I still have my grandparents safe, strong and healthy...I am studying in one of the top university that Malaysia has to offer...and I may have met that someone that I think I will spend my life together with...i got the bros and sisses in church....I got a car to go around....I got a laptop to be blogging about this....and most importantly I am still safe, strong and healthy to sit down and type this blog post out...

God gave me all those blessings and in return He just ask me to have Him to be the center in all the things that I do...and read His word constantly so that I won't stray away from Him....talk to Him daily....spread His gospel...so that the world can see Him in me....

and yet I failed at it...BIG TIME...God is already blessing me with all the blessings that I stated above and of course more...yet I still failed having the self discipline to do my devotion daily...and up to some point God was actually at the second place....although sometimes we tend to blame the busy schedule that we have...REALLY???!!!!! JUST 5 MINUTES IF NOT MORE OUT OF 24 HOURS JUST TO TALK TO THE CREATOR???!!!!!!

sometimes I feel really guilty when i think about it...then somehow will get distracted by something else then this matter will be pushed to the back of the mind...then it will be forgotten till the same thing happens the next time....

so I actually really thank God for having Pastor Charles to have the 30 days spiritual workout thing...and have the devotional materials posted in facebook....AWESOME...so yea...I am in the process of getting closer to God once again if not closer than before...

'Earth Hour' has passed...again...so how much have you done in order to preserve and conserve the earth for the past year except that you off every electrical appliances for one hour for the past 'Earth Hour'?

I didn't do very much...just recycled newspaper,tin cans and whatever that is recyclable at home...that's the least i can do...how about you?

traffic jam is one of the most situation that every drivers face...although i realized this long time ago but didn't have the chance to blog about it...everyday when I am going home from university I will find myself facing a traffic jam...and I also observed that 9 out of 10 cars have got only one person in it...and I just thought that if instead of one car per person,there are two or more people in the car...you do the maths and you will find out that the number of cars on the road can be decrease tremendously...

so do something more than just switching your electrical appliances off for one hour once a year...try to car pool with someone that stays near you or on your way home...lets try to cut down the number of cars on the road to lighten the traffic during peak hours...shall we?

hmmm...first day of university today...not nervous or excited...just like any other day...just that instead of going to work in the morning I went for orientation...and I need to face the jam every morning again...why can't the Malaysian government spent some money on improving the efficiency of public transport...can save time and also reduce air pollution...if this goes on wonder how long will it take for Malaysia to be a developed country...ok back to my first day of university...got to catch up with some friends after 3 months...just hope that from now till I graduate everything will go smoothly...graduating with a first class honor perfects my whole university life...need to pray hard and work hard on that...

after watching the video what do you guys think of it? I don't know about you but as for me I will tell the lady to get her information right the next time she goes on TV again...I don't know about the history of Valentine and how it came about but as a Christian I am sure that Christians does not celebrate Valentine's the way she described in the video...I mean putting aside the fact did Valentine spread Christianity among the prison but where did she get the idea that Christians celebrate Valentine's by carrying out sexual activities? I mean people do have sexual activities during Valentine's day but since when Christianity teaches it believers this kind of teaching? so to all Christians out there please do be careful of our every actions as people will judge us based on our action whether you like it or not...

been quite busy for Chinese New Year...thus not much time to update my blog till now...this year's Chinese New Year is quite different than the previous years...this is the first time that it rained on the first three days of Chinese New Year...and for the first time Chinese New Year is not as hot and humid as before...but there is still people complaining about it to my surprise...when it is hot then they complain that it will be uncomfortable because of sweating and humid weather and wish for the rain to come during Chinese New Year...but when it rains they complain that everything will be wet and it is not convenient to visit one another...some people are just hard to satisfy...

nevertheless I still enjoy my Chinese New Year aside from collecting 'ang pau' and lots of foods...talking about that I have grown fatter...GREAT...got to see friends and really enjoy those times having fun together...

my mood took a plunge since last week due to something that happened...as I was going through my mails and I found this...

A taxi passenger tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask him a question. The driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit a bus, went up on the pathway, and stopped centimeters from a shop window.
For a second everything went quiet in the cab, then the driver said,"Look mate, don't ever do that again. You scared the daylights out of me!"
The passenger apologized and said,"I didn't realize that a little tap would scare you so much."
The driver replied,"Sorry, it's not really your fault. Today is my first day as a cab driver. I've been driving a funeral van for the last 25 years..."

I've read this joke somewhere before...but at that moment for whatever reason I just laughed from the bottom of my heart...that really felt good...so thought of sharing it with you and hoping that it will put a smile that comes from the bottom of your heart just as it did for me...

chinese new year is just round the corner...everybody is cleaning their house for this celebration...today my mum asked me to clean the house with the help of her and my sister...we started off by cleaning the kitchen...then the living room and lastly the porch...normally when you wash the car porch you will need to use the broom to scrub the floor...it was tiring and dull...till my grandpa took out the jet spray...that made my day...all i need to do is just stand there and point the nozzle at the place i want it to cleaned...the most relax car porch washing i ever experience...

every club and uniform group is preparing for the Exhibition Day...but there is a saying in Chinese : there is no boundary in learning...and I learned something very interesting today... so let me ask you one question...how big is a mice's testis? remember a mice is even smaller than a mouse...

this post is based on a true story...normally I am the first to reach school for my class...so I on all three fans and two out of three lights except for the front one...this moment two of my friends came in and went to their seat...even before we can greet each other we heard a bird chirping and that bird is flying towards the fan...then we heard a loud 'TENG'...then you know what happened...lesson learned...on the lights when you on the fan...so that another innocent bird won't die because of this...

The movie was so touching that 'kaya pau' watched the movie with 'char siew pau' again...this time around, 'kaya pau' cried but 'char siew pau' was laughing...why is that so?
Answer: because they have different filling(feeling)...

For the third time, 'kaya pau' watched the movie with 'dai pau'...this time around 'kaya pau' cried as usual but 'dai pau' cried even profusely...why is that so?
Answer: because 'dai pau' has a bigger filling (feeling) than 'kaya pau'...
